Technical Account Manager

Job Description:

The Account Manager is responsible for developing new business, growing revenue and providing superior client service.    You will be responsible for cold calling, setting client meetings, creating proposals, presenting proposals, landing accounts and providing ongoing client support to ensure the development of solid, long-term client relationships.  You will be working in a team environment.

 

Major Sales Responsibilities:

  • Develop client relationships with both new to CSS Clients and existing CSS Clients
  • Generate / close job orders
  • Assist Recruiting Team in the identification of prospective contractors
  • Obtain market knowledge of the following:
  • Information technology projects/staffing needs
  • Current rates for Information Technology services
  • Complete sales projections
  • KnowledgeofCSS-Tec
    • “What We Sell” (service lines)
    • UBCs (Unique Buying Criteria)
  • Accountability

 

You will have an annual sales quota.  You will also set annual goals with your manager.  These goals will focus on what you and CSS Tec need to accomplish jointly together.  Monthly goals will be set that relate to your annual goals.  This plan will focus on the skills, activities and initial financial projections CSS expects from you as an Account Manager.

  • Collections (assist accounts receivables when required)
  • com maintenance (CSS Tec’s sales and accounting CRM)
  • Management of on-site employees as required
  • Calculating and ensuring acceptable margins on deals you close
  • Accountable for:
    • Interview / Hire Ratios
    • Work as a Team Member within the Team
    • Quality Assurance (Ensure CSS Team Quality)
  • Develop contacts in local networking organizations
  • Knowledge of CSS sales Methods
  • Mentoring of other employees as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Prior sales experience – Ideally selling professional services of some type
  • Thrive working in a high pressure, fast paced, metrics driven environment
  • Superior communication (both oral and written), organizational and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship building and follow up skills
  • Consistent track record of success
