Contemporary Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist for a contract position in Carney's Point, NJ.
The Regulatory Affairs Specialist is responsible for the development, evaluation, and dissemination of technical product information in compliance with all applicable regulations and customer requirements.
Responsibilities of the Regulatory Affairs Specialist:
Interfaces with internal departments (e.g. Sales, R&D, Commercialization), customers, vendors and regulatory consultants to successfully accomplish tasks.
Identifies and interprets relevant regulations and technical documents in support of our vendor and customer business relationships, minimizing risk to all concerned.
Monitors industry relevant publications for insight on potential risks, regulatory changes or trends. Communicates findings to team management.
Maintains accurate and complete documentation to ensure product trace ability / historical record.
Responds to urgent business needs with accuracy, completeness, and professionalism.
Manages time requirements on assignments and communicates conflicts to management.
Requirements of the Regulatory Affairs Specialist:
B.S./B.A., preferably in Nutrition or Food Science
Experience in regulatory affairs, regulatory compliance, nutrition or product development is preferred
