A Payroll Specialist is needed for a Direct-Hire position in Malvern, PA!

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll, performing HR duties, and compiling applicable data.


Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist include:

  • Preparing and processing all payroll cycles for multiple companies in a multi-state jurisdiction.
  • Communicating with business process owners and technical vendor support for Ascentis Human Resources Information Systems and ADP Payroll.
  • Preparing and processing all Ascentis HRIS for multiple companies in a multi-state jurisdiction.
  • Developing standard HR data processes and creating supporting training materials.
  • Assisting with headcount and recruiting activity reports.
  • Forming reports, slides, and charts for analytics.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of private information.
  • Assisting with developing and deploying the company’s compensation strategy for all the company’s national locations and levels of the organizations.
  • Conducting internal/external compensation analyses using systems, market surveys, and third-party market data to support the company’s compensation programs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as HR or Business (or equivalent education and experience)
  • Experience with fixed and variable compensation
  • Payroll processing experience with hourly to executive level employees in a 250+ employee size company
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Access knowledge is an advantage)
  • Payroll processing experience required with ADP Workforce Now Payroll processing preferred
  • Experience with HRIS systems (such as Ascentis HRIS) in an audited environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and not afraid to make suggestions for improvement
  • Open to learning business and new methodologies/practices
  • Self-disciplined with a high sense of urgency to be a collaborative business partner.
  • Proven to have excellent customer service skills
  • Can work independently and on a team
  • An organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of our organization
