A Direct-hire Payroll Specialist position is currently being recruited for in Conshohocken, PA!

Our client company is a leading company in the insurance industry. They have provided multiple services for the niche markets they cater to since they first became a business over 25 years ago. Their goal is to keep providing excellent service to their customers so that they may continue to grow and become better as a company!  

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for daily and year-end payroll tasks and reports. This position offers full-time hours and an annual salary of $70K!

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist include:

  • Managing workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Reconciling payroll prior to transmission and validating confirmed reports.
  • Having a working understanding of proper taxation of employer paid benefits.
  • Processing correct garnishment calculations and compliance.
  • Completing eTime time and attendance processing and interface with payroll.
  • Performing compliances for unclaimed property payroll checks.
  • Conducting year-end reporting when necessary (such as W-2 and W-2c).
  • Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.
  • Updating and reconciling monthly bank statements.
  • Handling 1099 process and 401K administration.
  • Performing other general accounting duties when necessary (such as fixed assets management and balance sheet reconciliations).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of payroll experience
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
