There is currently an opening for a Part-Time Legal Administrative Assistant in Fort Washington, PA!

Our client company is a consulting firm that specializes in statistical, mathematical, engineering, and data analysis. They cater to a number of different clients, including trade organizations, law firms, and product manufacturers. Founded in 1995, the company has since grown and now offers services in engineering and biochemistry and operates in offices in multiple states.

The Legal Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for performing clerical duties and maintaining working professional relationships. The ideal candidate is incredibly organized, customer-driven, and thrives in a changing environment! While this is a part-time position with 10 to 20 hours per week, there is a possibility of getting additional hours and/or a transitioning into a full-time position!

Responsibilities of the Legal Administrative Assistant include:

  • Supporting the consulting team in the Pennsylvania office.
  • Performing clerical tasks such as scanning documents, logging incoming materials, creating and updating word documents, and supporting the current office administrator.
  • Assisting in managing and organizing materials and information relating to particular matters and transactions.
  • Assisting in the preparation of expert reports, document productions, legal research, depositions and trial preparation.
  • Managing calendars and coordinating meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Interfacing with clients.
  • Providing administrative support, including formatting and proofreading documents and day-to-day office management tasks.
  • Maintaining a close working relationship with administrative team members in California and Michigan.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a research, legal environment, or expert witness consulting office preferred
  • Experience with MS Windows operating systems (able to perform basic file and folder manipulation, application launching and settings manipulation)
  • Experience with MS Outlook (able to perform basic email creation and routing, attachment creation, and saving)
  • Experience with MS Word with advanced proficiency in templates, formatting, styles, and editing documents
  • Experience with MS Excel with basic proficiency in formulas, entering and editing tables, and cell, sheet, and document formatting
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat and other PDF editing and creation software with basic proficiency in document conversion and OCR
  • Experience with PowerPoint strongly preferred
  • An organized, self-motivated multitasker with an acute attention to detail
  • Adaptable and can be flexible with scheduling
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
