Inside Sales Rep

Trevose, PA | Contract

Position: Sales Representative

Location: Trevose, PA 19053

Duration: Strictly Temporary - 6+ months

Work Shift: Need someone to start out part-time (20-25 hours per week) mid-March to May then it will switch to full time in June to October to do outbound calling for the upcoming event. Need to have flexibility in hours and be able to work between 9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.



  • Outbound calls 30-40 (part-time) detail call list will be provided – target openers of email offers
  • Full-time 45-60 - detail call list will be provided – target for conversions (TBD)
  • Become familiar and stay abreast of all event details.
  • Participate in bi-weekly/weekly meetings with PS team
  • Provide feedback via call/email tracking
  • Contact details; data accuracy (time of day, # and method of attempts)
  • Include comments/feedback regarding event specifics
  • Knowledge of PS schedule, activities - location/time/date of event
  • ASI objectives/goals; agenda (when available)
  • Key note speakers – updates; video and social media
  • Top Suppliers & Distributors (confirmed)
  • Pricing (promo’s/email campaigns/hotel information)
  • Elite positioning with Marriott (talking points for securing reward points)

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication skills (deliver clear/concise information), pleasant phone manner, confident – strong outbound selling.
  • Persuasive; adaptive selling strategies (adapt to the customer’s communication style and quickly build rapport)
  • ABC (always be closing) Overcome objections to price; step down method in available target offers
  • Sell location (talking points and benefits of Tucson)
  • Elite positioning with Marriott (talking points for securing reward points)
  • Ability to personalize interaction (gain specific knowledge of the customer some background research using Salesforce/Personify)
  • Review data if potential attendee is past PS attendee or first-time attendee
  • Categorize customer (Supplier/Distributor)
  • Effective utilization of feedback; ability to document/track pertinent information provide to team
  • Detail oriented; excellent follow-up and decision-making skills
