An HRIS Consultant is currently needed for a position that involves Workday implementation in Hammonton, NJ!

Our client company is an energy services company that is primarily concerned with distributing natural gas to the local area. They promote clean technology and renewable energy by providing their services for retail customers and developing on-site production facilities.

The HRIS Consultant is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department by performing systems administration and enhancements for the Workday system. This a temporary position that pays $50 an hour!

Responsibilities of the HRIS Consultant include:

  • Supporting initiatives from an employee life cycle perspective, such as Time and Absence, Talent, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, and Recruiting modules and outbound integrations.
  • Helping implement HR project initiatives for Workday with internal clients, including requirements, design sessions, build, and testing.
  • Supporting and troubleshooting complex business processes, applications, and functional issues, providing solutions and promoting increased efficiency for them.
  • Supporting organizational updates in the Workday system and Workday Release Management Updates twice a year.
  • Understanding the Workday data model, security, integrations, reporting, and data load procedures.
  • Creating ad hoc reports and metrics and providing data summaries or statistical analysis for strategic planning/decision-making.
  • Preparing and uploading Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) for mass data entry.
  • Creating end-user training materials, including job aids and live demonstrations upon changes to the system and/or procedures.
  • Working alongside HRIS and IT teams to ensure that the business requirements are being met by technology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree majoring in Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related subject
  • Minimum of two years of experience in HRIS or similar role
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Experience designing and implementing new features for a HCM system (Workday HCM modules preferred)
  • Cross-functional HR knowledge in Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Absence, and Learning
  • Strong oral and written communications skills including the ability to convey technical information to nontechnical users
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
