A Data Entry Clerk is needed for a position in Plymouth Meeting, PA!

The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for typing information into the company database from paper documents. The ideal candidate is computer savvy with a keen eye for detail! While the position is currently temporary, it has the possibility of becoming permanent for excellent employee!
Responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk include:
Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards.
Typing in data provided directly from customers.
Verifying data by comparing it to source documents.
Updating existing data.
Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested.
Sorting and distributing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is assigned to the proper personnel.
High School degree/GED
Proven experience as data entry clerk
Fast typing skills, with a minimum of 60 WPM
Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (such as MS Office Word, Excel)
Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
Great attention to detail and able to multi-task
Basic understanding of databases
Excellent oral and written (English) and customer service skills
