The Claims Representative perform a broad range of claims support activities in the office, including documenting claims, failing claims, and helping customers with their claims. While the position is temporary, it has the possibility of becoming permanent for an extraordinary employee!
Responsibilities of the Claims Representative include:
Communicating with customers over the phone and in writing.
Helping with claim investigations/fact development.
Documenting claim files.
Completing all claim file activities.
Inputting data into claim systems.
Retrieving and reviewing insurance contract language.
Calculating and recommending loss settlements.
Consistently delivering exceptional customer experience to clients, customers, and business partners.
Adhering to Claims Department Standards while maintaining an appropriate volume of work product.

Minimum one year of general insurance experience or Customer Service support roles
Previous work experience in property claims operations

Good working knowledge of PC’s including Windows environment
