A Billing Training Manager is needed for a direct-hire position in Philadelphia, PA!

The Billing Training Manager is responsible for creating and conducting training for the Billing team, including developing learning materials and teaching classes. The ideal candidate is an expert on the subject and has superb interpersonal skills to sufficiently get the information across to subjects.

Responsibilities of the Billing Training Manager include:

  • Planning, coordinating, developing, and directing all curriculum, training, and staff development programs for Billing.
  • Creating training manuals and other materials, conducting classes, and identifying appropriate training formats and procedures (as in a classroom setting, Quick Reference Guides, demonstrations, and individual coaching).
  • Ensuring the Billing team receives the information and training needed to support assignments.
  • Serving as the Subject Matter Expert for eBilling, making sure to stay up to date on different eBilling provider platforms.
  • Training the billing staff on assigned accounts and training all new Billing hires.
  • Coordinating with Billing managers and supervisors.
  • Ensuring billers understand and follow any special arrangements required by the clients (such as special rates, task codes, activity codes).
  • Developing and maintaining an expertise for the firm, including an understanding of innovative programming and curriculum.
  • Conducting research and analysis to determine the best option or program, making recommendations to management team for improvement.
  • Providing support to billing team on firm wide initiatives.
  • Providing input to managers for performance evaluations.

•   Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field from four-year college or university


•   Minimum of 5 years of Elite experience (a combination of Enterprise and 3 E is preferred)


•   Minimum 5 years of law firm billing experience in a training or leadership role (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
