Accounts Payable/ Receivable Clerk

An Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk is needed for a Direct-hire position in West Deptford, NJ!

The Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk is responsible for corporate accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as well as other office/financial tasks given by the finance manager.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk include:

  • Recording corporate cash receipts and cash disbursements.
  • Processing monthly Treasury account statement reports.
  • Processing and verifying daily accounts payable vouchers.
  • Checking and processing corporate employee reimbursements.
  • Producing and distributing weekly checks for the corporate office, communicating with vendors for payment issues when necessary.
  • Being responsible for corporate treasury, credit, and finance department P-card purchasing.
  • Completing filing processes, including all ledgers, ensuring all filing requirements are met.
  • Entering data into the document system and working with Iron mountain for the storage arrangement.
  • Preparing monthly inter-company invoice, providing supporting documents to other sites for the invoices.
  • Providing support on quarterly tax information e-mail and gathering from other sites in US, annual 1099 preparation.
  • Performing other ad hoc jobs assigned by finance manager.
  • Work closely with other finance team members and project team for corporate SAP implementation in 2018/19.

  • Minimum of 2 years of Accounting education with certificate
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting department (AR/AP accountant preferred)
  • Previous experience with ERP system like SAP or Oracle is a plus
  • IT literate with a good knowledge of Excel
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and pays strong attention to detail
