Our client is revamping a lot of their internal applications. This role will sit in IT and also be used on the business side as the coordinator between IT and the business. They are looking for someone that has high energy, that is able to work with high level executives and that can positively challenge PM’s when projects fall behind.
Accomplishes work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and coaching employees.
Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.
Meets cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Meet with executives to discuss were projects stand in the pipeline
Very strong communication skills both verbally and written
Ideally 3-4 years of Project Coordination experience
Some experience working as a Jr PM on a project
Strong executive presence and worked with executives and business owners directly
Experience pushing forward projects that are delayed and resolve the issue with the Project owner
PMP, CSM Cetrifications desired
Experience working on application development projects
