Contemporary Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a direct hire position in Wayne, PA.

The Junior Staff Accountant will work closely with all departments, as well as senior management. It requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work is completed in a team based and hands-on environment. We seek driven and solutions-oriented people to make up our team.
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant-
Oversee the cash receipts, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
Maintain fixed asset ledgers, compute depreciation and create related journal entries
Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts
Investigate and resolve variance discrepancies
Assist in monthly close process and producing financial statements
Organize and manage information for annual external audits
Assist in development of accounting procedures and policies
Research and problem solving related to accounting and finance matters
Works closely with other departments in the organization including senior management
Must be highly responsible and confidential
Must be detail-oriented and highly efficient
Must be self-motivated, results oriented and adaptable in an evolving work environment
Strong ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Other duties as assigned
Requirements of the Staff Accountant:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting
Experience with online payroll processing is necessary, ADP is a plus
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience required
