Contemporary Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator for a Contract to Hire opportunity in Trenton, NJ.

The ideal candidate would hold have at least 2 years experience as a Project Coordinator.  This candidate will be able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.  A strong candidate will have experience with coordination of meetings, projects, presentations, ect.  They should have a proven record of success and achievement and be able to thrive in a busy environment.

Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:

  • Support department in daily activities through training and participation throughout the project life cycle
  • Assist in planning, organizing and supporting the facilitation of project updates
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts to assist in determining time frames, budgets, quality levels, project structure
  • Provide support with the administration of projects, including resource commitments, scheduling meetings, updating documents, and reporting benefits realization.
  • Maintain project charts, plans and all other documentation; ensure reports are completed timely.
  • Add, update, maintain and report on project resource allocation; provide weekly resource allocation reports to Project Managers, for inclusion in weekly project status reports.
  • Track and report on reporting requirements for active projects and prepare and track requests for telecommunication
  • Provide executive administrative assistance to the strategy leadership team
  • Perform periodic reporting on activities
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Project Coordinator:

  • Bachelor's Degree; preferred, HS Diploma; required
  • 2+ years experience supporting projects or executive level individuals
  • Previous Project Management experience is strongly preferred (internships are applicable)
  • Previous experience reporting to Project Managers is strongly preferred
  • Must have experience planning and organizing projects as well as facilitating training
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel experience is required
