Jacksonville, FL | Direct Hire
Provides recruitment and onboarding support to the Human Resources team.
Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs
Screens resumes, performs screening interviews via phone, administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for further interviewing and hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings
Assist HR Team in onboarding process
Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract the best qualified candidates for vacant positions
Works with the Communications Specialist to develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, etc.
Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process
Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals
Works with hiring managers and the Human Resources team to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance
Assists in managing current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy
Implement and Manage internship program
3 years’ experience with recruiting and/or Human Resources
Strong oral and written communication skills
Goal oriented and highly driven to take initiative; Self-starter
Customer service and team oriented
Strong Microsoft Office Skills
Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Must be attentive to detail.

This is an office based role.

The incumbent occasionally walks and stands for long periods of time. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position could occasionally require long hours or some weekend work.
The role requires minimal travel. Office based role. 40 to 45 hours normally.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related area
Construction background a plus
Any combination of education and experience as deemed appropriate by hiring managers
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
