Director of Marketing

King of Prussia, PA | Direct Hire

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Director of Marketing for a Direct Hire position in King of Prussia, PA.

Responsibilities of the Director of Marketing:

  • Oversee Product and Marketing Managers, Marketing Communication Managers, and Development teams for multiple locations
  • Report all breakthroughs and developments to Executive Management
  • Work closely and correspond effectively with other departments when imperative (Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management, Engineering, Finance)
  • Carry through outlined approach for Strategy & Market Penetration, Product Portfolio Management, Marketing Communications Management, and Customer Management
  • Develop methods for marketing strategies including market research, business case, competitive analysis, etc.
  • Generate ROI models/value propositions
  • Determine vital elements for contemporary product development
  • Responsible for the management of engineering-to-sales transformation for the duration of new product development
  • Handle and allocate Media and Tradeshow Budgets, as well as all communication and deliverables involved
  • Create and manage promotional materials, brochures, web appearance, etc (Marcom Materials)
  • Build competitive advantage and recognize market needs
  • Analyze and solve customer feedback/issues
  • Grow selling platforms

Requirements of the Director of Marketing:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in Engineering industry
  • Strong business and financial skill sets with conceptual understanding
  • MBA or equivalent (Marketing Diploma preferred)
  • 7-10 years of Product Management experience
  • Preferred background in B2B selling, strategic planning, and P&L responsibility
  • Proven record of penetrating new markets
  • Skillful collaborator
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills that are applicable to diverse job duties
  • Complacent and proficient in public speaking
  • Perceptive, insightful (politically), and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Posses a positive attitude
  • 30% travel involved
