Contemporary Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting Customer Service Agent (Call Center) Representatives for Contract to Hire positions in Pipesville, PA.
In this role you will answer and satisfy in-bound customer calls in a high-volume environment; assist customers with placing orders; contact customers about orders; and assist with special projects, as needed
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Agent (Call Center):
Enter phone orders quickly and accurately.
Ensure that the employee's DLD, shipping address, part numbers, logos and order type is correct;
Check customer allowance balances and verify the information is correct.
Troubleshoot allowance problems and escalate to the Customer Service Manager when necessary;
Handle catalog requests and send to the appropriate person;
Process Rush and Same Day order requests;
Answer inquiries regarding delivery dates, backordered items and track customer shipments if necessary;
Assist customers in selecting appropriate merchandise;
Transfer calls to the appropriate department as required, or contact other departments to obtain information to questions you cannot answer;
Clearly communicate issues that you cannot solve to the Customer Service Manager in a timely manner;
Work with team members well and communicate with them effectively;
Perform other duties and projects as assigned;
Requirements of the Customer Service Agent (Call Center):
Excellent attention to detail;
Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills;
Excellent customer service skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively build rapport with customers;
Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
Excellent organization and time management skills, and the ability to multi-task;
Strong computer skills;
Ability to learn quickly;
High School Diploma or equivalent required;
A minimum of one – three years prior Inbound Customer Service Call experience strongly preferred.
