Administrative Assistant (2nd Shift)

Bridgeport, NJ | Contract to Hire

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant (2nd shift) for a Contract to Hire role in Bridgeport, NJ.

The ideal candidate would have 2-3+ years administrative/clerical experience and previous experience supporting a senior level employee.  A strong candidate would have supply management and inventory control experience, as well as strong writing and verbal communication skills. 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5p-2a

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:

  • Resolves administrative problems by coordinating the preparation of reports.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level
  • Anticipating needed supplies
  • Placing and expediting orders for supplies
  • Verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects
  • Will be expediting work results.

  • Requirements of the Administrative Assistant:
  • HS Diploma; required, Bachelor's Degree; preferred
  • 2-3+ years administrative/clerical experience is required
  • Previous supply management or inventory control experience is required
  • Previous experience managing processes is strongly preferred
  • Must have experience supporting a senior level employee
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Must be organized and have a high attention to detail
