Accounts Payable Processor

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting an Accounts Payable Processor for a Contract to Hire position in West Chester, PA.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing and monitoring accounts payable transactions, while adhering to the Company's accounting policies. The candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills to successfully communicate with vendors and internal employees, which is vital to execute business processes.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Processor:

  • Work with company's imaging system and financial system
  • Prioritize tasks depending upon the status of monthly and quarterly accounting cycles
  • Effectively communicate with vendors to process material timely, meet their payment terms, and resolve inquiries
  • Handle vendor bills, payment processing, and problems with vendor accounts
  • Distinctly clarify procedures and technical functionality to all users (including field and management)

Requirements of the Accounts Payable Processor:

  • 2 years accounts payable, accounts receivable, and/or accounting experience
  • Preferred Scanning experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of payable cycle
  • Previous experience with automated AP systems and softwares
  • Ability to work closely with management and across departments
  • Strong multi-tasker
  • Ability to function in fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail due to handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Physical requirements
    • English speaking and listening
    • Ccomputer usage
    • Llimited carrying, lifting, walking, and standing
