AP Clerk

Wilmington, DE | Contract

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is currently seeking qualified AP Clerks for a Contract opportunity in Wilmington, DE.

Contract Length: 3-4 Months

Responsibilities of the AP Clerk:

  • Process AP vouchers for company funds.
  • Maintain data in the system. Update as needed.
  • Provide accounting support for the Finance department.
  • Verify each submitted item for accuracy including purchase orders, invoices, and receiving tickets.
  • Compile necessary information to process vendor payment.
  • Process company payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Generate reports on AP and AR status on a monthly basis.

Requirements of the AP Clerk:

  • Associates degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years' AP/AR experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Bookkeeping principles and policies
  • Automated payroll system experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of ADP preferred
